The Historic Round Barn is the entrance building.


This summer it holds an exhibit with 3 floors of vintage motorcycles and racing machines.



 

 

(plus the Glass Motorcycle in the Tiffany building.)

 

Historic homes and buildings

Transported from all over New England,

some with original furnishings,

some as museums with specific types of Americana.

 

 

 

 


A 10-wheel steam locomotive and luxury rail car.

 

 

 

 

A 19th-century store with barber shop, tap room, post office, and doctor and dentist offices;
19th-century medicine shop.

 

 

The restored 220-foot steamboat Ticonderoga is a National Historic Landmark

and the last walking beam side-wheel passenger steamer in existence.

Built in Shelburne in 1906, it operated as a day boat on

Lake Champlain serving ports along the New York and Vermont shores until 1953.

 

The “Ti” has a single cylinder, vertical steam engine.

 

 

 

 

The Arnold Circus Parade has nearly 4,000 figures. It was made between 1925-55 and forms a parade over 500 feet long.

 



 

 

The Kirk Bros. Circus is a miniature three-ring circus with audience comprised of over 3,500 pieces.

 

 

World’s largest collection of glass canes

A huge display of toy fire engines,

antique toys and dolls houses.

 

 

A whole house full of Tiffany jewelry, stain-glass windows and lamps.

 

 

Many of the buildings contain paintings, both American and Impressionism
